As for tips on how to make the photos look like this, I suggest you get yourself an old 35mm camera, any good point and shoot will do the job, or if you are more experienced get a manual SLR and experiment. Try to avoid automatic cameras and just shoot away, don’t stress about subject and composition too much, they will become second nature with practice.
